Carrying Me Into Fall – Sephora Collection Nano Lip Liners

sephora-collection-nano-lip-liners-featured

One of my greatest finds this month was the sale on Sephora Collection Nano Lip Liners ($5 CAD). I have happily paid full price for these in the past, but I couldn’t pass up a $5 Sephora lip pencil (especially since Ebates was offering 16% cash back at the time!).

These liners have it all — pigment, smooth application, lasting power, great colour selection (though several seem to be out of stock; perhaps they’re discontinuing this line?), comfortable to wear. I love that they come in a smaller pencil format; it’s great for travel, sure, but it’s also an inexpensive and non-committal way to try out a colour you wouldn’t normally go for.

I’m looking to Brilliant Berry (apparently sold out) and Chic Choco to carry me into the cool evenings this season. These liners are great on their own all over the lips, but for added comfort you could apply over a balm. Layer them under sheer balm stains to customize the colour payoff.

Brilliant Berry is a deep dusty mauve; Chic Choco is a medium warm-toned brown. Both are perfect picks for the season as we shift into fall.

Sephora Collection also makes Nano Eyeliners, which are similarly on sale for $5.

I like that they’re small! Most full-size makeup products take me eighty zillion years to use up.

Exactly! I often prefer travel size products for this very reason. You just don’t see travel sized liners too much 🙂

I wish we had a Sephora here! Both shades look lovely, especially brilliant berry! I normally go to Rimmel or Kiko for lip liners, both of which are really good. I tend to go for the more neutral/pink shades, but I really want to try some mauve shades too 🙂 xx

You might not have Sephora but we don’t have Kiko! I’d love to try their liners. One of my other favourites for lip liners is Gosh – they have a great range of shades.
